This region has two Gyan Vani stations exclusively for educational programmes. Hyderabad Gyan Vani station broadcasts IGNOU programmes daily between 06.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. at 105.6 MHz. Similarly the Visakhapatnam Gyan Vani Station broadcasts its programmes from 06.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. daily with the repeat of the same programmes daily in the morning between 06.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.
